As a relational psychodynamic psychotherapist, my work is grounded in the belief that healing occurs through authentic human connection. I place great importance on developing a caring and trusting therapeutic relationship, that emphasizes the importance of feeling seen, heard and understood, as we explore your inner world together.

Psychodynamic therapy recognizes that we are not always consciously aware of the origins of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Our past experiences, especially those formed in early relationships, leave lasting imprints on how we perceive ourselves and relate to others. By bringing these patterns into awareness, we can begin to understand how they shape our present lives while gaining new insights and meaning relating to our sense of self. This awareness can provide us with the ability to consciously choose to change the patterns that no longer work for us, rather than being ruled by what we cannot see or understand.
